Honoring Russian Heritage, Building Community
The Russian Cultural Garden of Cleveland is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating Russian heritage, art, and cultural influence in America. As part of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens, we preserve and showcase the rich contributions of Russian writers, scientists, musicians, and artists to world history.
Our mission is to create a space where history and culture come to life—free from political, military, or religious affiliations—allowing visitors to appreciate the beauty and influence of Russian culture in a peaceful and inclusive environment.
Our Journey
For many years, Cleveland’s Russian-American community dreamed of creating a cultural garden that would reflect Russia’s rich artistic and intellectual heritage. That dream began to take shape in 2011, when the first plans for the Russian Cultural Garden were developed.
After acquiring a 0.7-acre plot in Rockefeller Park, the garden was officially dedicated on September 8, 2018. Since then, we have continued to grow and enhance the space, installing a statue of Yuri Gagarin and creating the Russian Cultural Hall of Fame.
With your support, we aim to complete future phases of development and establish a lasting, inspiring tribute to Russian heritage in Cleveland.
